Conqueror through Faith Eliza |
" Without faith... nothing is possible. With it... anything is impossible." He (Yeshua) said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 Make your “mustard seed” faith grow strong in the Lord. As a young girl I have been very enthusiastic whenever I seen my Mother knit. My Mom knitted the most stunning garments with scallops and patterns. I too wanted to learn how to knit. Soon I learnt how to enjoy creating simple things from beautiful balls of yarn. Every time I start a new project, it is overwhelming. I read the directions and they look entirely too complicated; I’m convinced I’m not a good enough knitter to complete the project. Casting on those first few stitches seems insignificant compared to all the stitches and rows needed to be completed in the project. Often, that first row looks so lumpy and misshapen that I am convinced my final piece won’t look right. Somehow in the beginning stages the knitted piece will end up with these big holes as I dropped stitches and in other instances I would end up with knotted yarn. Several times, I’ve ripped out my stitches and started over, only to have it look the same way. However, I’ve found if I keep moving forward, one stitch at a time, one row at a time, the individual stitches smooth out and I can finally see what I’m trying to create. Later in life with my first child on the way, I decided to give this one more try. With great excitement I went to the nearest shop to get the yarn and pattern. As the shop attendant approach me for assistance, I told him that I am expecting a baby and need the easiest pattern to knit booties for my little one. His words to me that day was something that stayed with me for years. “It is not the easy pattern you choose, it is the willingness you apply with faith that makes you succeed”. I think we do the same thing with God too. We are convinced that our tiny task isn’t right—that our work won’t ever result in a finished product. We do not have the faith of a mustard seed to realize that God sees the bigger picture. Our tiny task, completed step by step and row by row, will result in something much greater than our initial task. Like the knitters who make individual squares and then come together to create an entire quilt, God tells us to have a tiny amount of faith to create something far greater than we think we can. Our “mustard seed” faith can feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless and move mountains. Life circumstances may be pressing you right now. Are you going to allow your challenges to stop you, stress you or stretch you?" " Without faith... nothing is possible. With it... anything is impossible."
Father, how wonderful it is to know that You are all around us, that You surround us with your caring arms from every side and protect us from all dangers. From You and through You and unto You are all things Lord and all glory belongs to You alone for ever. We praise You for Your love, grace and communion with us. Thank You that we may face the world as a conquerors over the evil one as we are certain that You are with us. Father give us great enthusiasm for Your kingdom and let Your power rest upon us to meditate on You daily. Grant us Your peace for each journey throughout life. Help us to comprehend the depth of Your wonderful love and grace every day. Lord we pray that you will intervene in each crises and each hand reaching out seeking You. Help us to reach out to others, not only those in need but also those that lost their way. Help us to live according to Your will, increase our faith to stand strong and grant us the vision of true appreciation for Your eternal security. Walk with us every step of the way and help us to grow stronger each day. Thank You Lord for Your strength in us made us conquerors of the world and the evil one. Amen
You say, "It's impossible."
Once you've been stretched to a new level of faith, vision and endurance you can't go back to old thinking. Stretching your faith and using your mental muscles to move mountains will allow you to be the head and not the tail of your circumstances. Learn from your problems and rather call them challenges. Worries can either stop you from succeeding your goal, stress you out to steal your joy, or stretch you to the limit and according to the size of thinking faith. Each time that you are stretched, you will grow beyond your comfort zone because God is with you. God allow certain things in life not to make you suffer but to make you stronger. He leads you so that your need will be for Him. He never leaves you, but accompanies you with every step you take and meets you at the finish line. He awaits you in with a crown for the conqueror. Each time you are stretched, think about how you are tapped into a supernatural power of solving a problem, the flexibility to be able to do it, a sense of humor to laugh along your way, intelligence beyond your own recognition, ability to let go when God takes over, inner strength to wait upon the Lord, stretched to give your best when it is required.
Yahweh, I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards, I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better, I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me, I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears, I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves, I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet, I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job, I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief, I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed. I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles. I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better. I'm thanking you because FATHER, you will never give up on me. Amen! Have a joyful day and remember to thank G-d for it! Love in Yeshua |
