"...Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
In every season, no matter what I've done or how alone I feel, I can know my Lord loves me. One thing I do understand in the middle of all the storms of this life is that He loves me. As I've tried to find sense and cope with all the attacks in my life, as well as deal with some other issues, I'm trying to lean on YHVH so I can learn the lessons He wants me to learn.
My lesson and the lesson for all of us is that Yeshua is the only person who will never let us down. He won't deceive us. He won't betray us. He won't desert us. I know He loves me because He laid down His life for me. (John 15:13). Maybe that's why the tears overflow every time I hear the song "At the Cross".
Living for a purpose takes a lot of courage. So far, the year has been a very tough year for me, in my estimation, perhaps one of my most difficult making decisions which could influence and change the entire course in my life. We are always pursuing happiness
I sat down at a table today waiting for someone to serve me, as looked down just gazing in front of me; I noticed the bread crumbs on the floor. This took my thoughts to being so poor that you would long for those crumbs on the floor.
There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, whodesired to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. Luke 16:19-25
Yeshua says we are really satisfied when we are "poor in spirit." What we see is a poor man named Lazarus. He is so poor that he is diseased and longing for crumbs that fall to the floor, not loaves of bread, he is just hoping for the crumbs. That is poor. He has absolutely nothing. Just like a street beggar knows he has nothing and rejoices in whatever he receives. A spiritual beggar knows that he has nothing to offer YHVH but himself.
When we honestly believe we are spiritually poor, we will come begging to YHVH for help and even the crumbs will satisfy the hunger. Yet YHVH have His handout and it is free, just receive His forgiveness of your sins and He will take you off the streets and bring you into His mansion, the kingdom of heaven John 14:2.
The word tells us that we should never be confident about our plans and that we should always say “ If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” James 4:15. We are told to not “worry about anything, but pray and ask YHVH for everything we need, always giving thanks”
“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to YHVH.” Philippians 4:6
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. Matthew 6:31-32
We see everywhere in the Bible that we are well provided for and that a table has been prepared for us, yet yearly YHVH has to be satisfied with the Bread Crumbs from us. Nothing is for nothing and everything has a price tag to it. YHVH never asks for more than we can give.
When we give YHVH the place of highest honor in our hearts, we will also put Him first in our lives. We will offer Him the very best we have. And we will find joy in serving the Lord, instead of experiencing it as hard work.
When YHVH created this world, He made sure that there will be no need. Everything has been taking well care off. The entire creation of this world was done with love and care. YHVH took everything to heart.
How hungry are you for YHVH in your life? What would you give up to spend time in YHVH's presence? Do you think Job meant what he said when he was in the depths of despair trying to make sense of his friends ridiculous accusations? I believe Job meant every word. Job had such a deep relationship with YHVH that nothing could permanently shake him.
Job wished he were dead at first. But even the strongest believer has moments of hopelessness when faced with a pain so piercing that they feel death would be better. Remember, Job had lost everything. Most importantly though, Job had not lost His God nor his faith in Him.
As He did with Job, YHVH also has a refining purpose for all of us. The paths He has for us might not always be the comfortable paths we would have chosen, but we must rest assured they are the best for us. Job 23:10
For he performs what is appointed for me, And many such decrees are with Him. Job 23:14
Because YHVH's ways are not our ways, we must rely on the promises of His word so that when storms make their way into our lives we can stand firm. In troubled times, we have to hold on to one thing in our lives that will never change and that is the Word of YHVH. Our feelings about YHVH may change with our circumstances, but those words in black and white stay consistent from day to day, year after year. Yes, I believe His word truly is better than my necessary food.
YHVH says that He will strengthen our hearts when they become weak. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. He uses everything in our lives to mold us and shape us into the people He needs us to be to accomplish our purpose in this life. The Lover of my soul, the creator that formed me in my mother’s womb gave us the best in life. Yeshua HaMassiah.

Avi, please lift up those who are in the valley with seemingly no strength left to take another step forward and towards You. Wipe the tears from their eyes, heal their wounds, prevent them from falling and give them wisdom to make the hard choices they have to face. Please, help them to see clearly the price before their eyes, and give them the strength and endurance to keep pressing on. Be gracious and forgiving to our daily sins. Teach us to be content with what we have and rather seek You than the riches of this world we are living in, but rather look forward to the coming of Yeshua HaMassiah. In the name of Yeshua we pray and say thank You Avi for everything You have done. Amen.
