TO BE IN HEAVEN
Eliza Bezuidenhout

During Shabbat, I sat reading through the scriptures while the word “Heaven” caught my attention. Oh’ how awesome it must be, just to be in Heaven.  Immediately my mind floated away into the far distance and I realize that our humanly minds can surely not imagine the true visions of heaven.

As children we have seen pictures of the bluest clouds and little angels floating in the skies with their musical instruments. We all seemed to have the same imaginary to be able to fly with wings high up in the sky with the capability to look down upon the earth.  With great excitement children would even make the attempt to put this into practice.

The questions about "heaven" are framed in such a self-oriented perspective. "What will it be like?" "What will I be doing?" This only reveals that we do not have a clue what heaven is all about!

When we fall in love with someone, our hearts overflow with joy and the phrase or term being used for being “in love” is also known as: “I’m in heaven”. A period of total over joy of happiness. This made me realize how much time here on earth we live in the imaginary and thoughts.  These are visions of tomorrow or things we desire in our hearts and by having the imaginary we always “hope” our dreams will come true and remain forever.

Love is the divine spirit within our hearts, mind and soul. It requires an action and this is an attempt to "escape" from ultimate dream into reality. It requires three steps: Thought of Spirit, the Word of Spirit, and the Action of Spirit.  To enter into a loving and intimate relationship we require putting our thoughts, words, and action of our spiritual into practice.

Spending time in spiritual communication gives your inner spirit the opportunity to convey feelings of peace, love, joy, strength, courage, faith, patience and tolerance to help us continue to live in a higher place. Our Divine Father is the Living Word of Spirit, that part of Yahweh aligns our characteristics of personality to a spirit essence. Through love our spirit has a direct and interactive personal experience with our Divine Father which will bring more spirit substance into our being in both body and mind.

You will actually ingest more faith, love, compassion, truth, goodness, tolerance and other wonderful spiritual attributes when you are in relationship with Yeshua. Our faith and hope must be in the salvation and believe in Yeshua. Love for Yeshua, Love for one another; Love and compassion for the lost.

Falling in love with Yeshua is the best ever happening to me. With all the love within my heart I see Yeshua as vulnerable, honest, loving and caring. He struggled through faith and He became our redeemer, He fell in love and was in pain for the love that was lost to show that He was like us, human. He reasoned but with re-assurance. He even humanly doubted but kept His faith. He questioned but He surrendered. He fought through his passionate love for you and me with great courage. He struggle was proves as love beyond all comparisons a love unconditionally.

I fell in love with Yeshua instantly from the moment He was able to explain the nature of a death to deaf-mute person until through the end where the miracle of that person being able to talk again. I fell in love with how He loved Joseph and how He respected and cared for His earthly Mother Mary as well as those He knew to be His brothers or sisters.  I fell in love with how He responded to people because how they knew He was 'conceived without sin' and yet he never used it for His own glory. I fell in love with how He viewed love and sacrificed it for many. I fell in love with all the miracles that He performed through love and care. I fell in love with how He saw good things even in the worst characters you will ever see. I fell in love with how He knew from his heart that He has a mission to fulfill and just placed His heart, soul and mind into it. I fell in love by knowing He is the conqueror of death itself. I fell in love simply for who He is. I fell in love with Yeshua knowing He has prepared a place for me and I am welcome in the heavenly place with His Father. My Love for Yeshua is beyond explanation and has no limits. I seek His face daily, His voice brings me peace, joy and hope. The best of all is to know that He loves me. "Heaven came down and glory filled my soul."

What is heaven then? What happens there and how do we get there to experience this awesome happiness, once there, what will I be doing?

I am sure that many ask these questions, but if we think about a wonderful love relationship, it does not need to be boring. How wonderful is it just to be in each other’s presence, hold another and to hear each other’s voices.  You will have so much pleasure and joy to share together. When we are in love, we admire, adore and passion has no limits. The fact is that your interaction creates the awareness and focus of love.

Heaven is to be in the presence of Yahweh. Yahweh's presence always implies that He is acting in accord with His character. Yahweh's character is summed up in Love. To get there, we have to love His son Yeshua. "Yahweh is Love"  1 John 4:8,16. Yahweh's love is total selflessness.

Love is concerned only about the other, and the Ultimate Other, Yahweh. To be able to experience total happiness, and be in heaven, we have to come into His Glory. Not only will we find happiness there but also be in His total loving care. Yahweh is love, unselfish and unselfconscious. To be able to experience "heaven" is to lose our self-orientation and our self-concern. To be in heaven is to experience the character of Yahweh in action.

Applying our faith to heaven is to prove that our love is true, always active and extending passion out toward the other. If you see the Son (Yeshua) you see the Father (Yahweh). Accepting this, you are blessed and filled with “The Holy Spirit” (Ruach HaKodesh)

The divine intent for the human creature is to allow Yahweh, the heavenly Father that made available to mankind in Yeshua, His Son, and by the outpouring of His Spirit to function by His heavenly presence in us.
That is the gospel, the "good news" about "heaven."

Love in Yeshua
Be blessed and stay blessed!
Have a joyful day and remember to thank Yahweh יהוה for it!
